Although I didn't know it at the time, this free-association painting became the seed for my "Joyflow" series of paintings. A collection of 22 paintings that conceptually explored various aspects of my Biblical faith and the nature of our Heavenly Father and the trinity. Even though I wasn't spiritually motivated during the production of this piece, I was fascinated by the complexity and density of the lines.  It did get me thinking very biologically about the complexity in our own bodies and such.  While I had no idea at the time that this canvas would spawn a series that still intrigued me for nearly a decade, thus the title "Genesis" which I applied after the fact.
