The Return of Israel

Just as God promised through the writings of his prophets, the people of Israel were eventually gathered together and led back into their land.  The temple, the city, and finally under the leadership of Nehemiah, the walls of Jerusalem were rebuilt.  The book of Nehemiah tells how numerous enemies did not want to see the city of Jerusalem revived.  The entire walls of the city were rebuilt, however, in only 52 days while armed guards stood by in case of attack.  This is truly a miraculous accomplishment and demonstrates how amazing things can happen when people have God’s blessing.
