Joe Hishmeh, head pastor of Fellowship Bible Church, asked me to help out on a project to help quickly and easily explain the Gospel. The idea was to have a series of drawings being illustrated on a white board as a voice over talked viewers through a basic explanation of the major tenents of the Good News. Of course I was game, and after several days of storyboard planning in my sketchbook we felt ready to give it a try. Wyatt Johnston, tech arts director extraordnaire at FBC, and myself spent the better part of 7 hours one day taking over 3200 digital pictures to create the video. It originally was 12 minutes long, but with his technical wizzardry Wyatt was able to trim it down to it's current length at just under 8 minutes. This video was shown at FBC and at the Topeka Performing Arts Center where Fellowship hosted their Easter services. It's always exciting to have opportunities to use the gifts God has given me to serve Him and hopefully advance His kingdom. My prayer is that God will use the video to encourage those who don't already have a relationship with Christ to take that first step in faith towards Him. I just wish we could have done it without my big fat head showing up so much! Enjoy!
